The Cabinet of Ministers is discussing opportunities for strategic projects and long-term investments with American businessmen
Deputy Prime Minister Daniyar Amangeldiev held talks with representatives of major companies from the USA, during which the prospects for investment cooperation were considered.
Amangeldiev emphasized that Kyrgyzstan is actively implementing large projects in the fields of infrastructure, energy, and industry, which create sustainable sources of economic growth and contribute to the modernization of the economic structure.
In particular, he highlighted the Kambarata HPP-1 project, noting its importance for ensuring energy security, developing the industrial sector, and increasing electricity exports.
The First Deputy Prime Minister also reported that in 2025, the international rating agency Standard & Poor’s Global Ratings confirmed Kyrgyzstan's sovereign credit rating at B+ with a "Stable" outlook. He noted that this reflects the positive results of structural reforms and an increase in trust from foreign investors.
Furthermore, Daniyar Amangeldiev emphasized that the country's tax policy is aimed at supporting and stimulating investors and the business sector. He added: "The main task of the Cabinet of Ministers is to create a reliable, transparent, and competitive jurisdiction for long-term investments and technological partnerships in the region."
