He also noted that the local budget for 2026 allocates 510 million soms for these purposes.
“By the end of this year, this amount may increase. In 2025, more than 1 billion soms were allocated for capital repairs,” the deputy mayor added.
Officials emphasized that the process begins with applications submitted by local administrations, after which the Ministry of Construction checks the condition of the buildings and issues a conclusion. Based on this conclusion, a budget estimate is prepared, and without it, capital repairs cannot be carried out.
Currently, the commission continues to discuss the budget project for Bishkek for 2026.
