On February 14, the premiere of the play "Bir kelip ketchi Osh zhakka" ("Come at least once to Osh") took place at the Sultan Ibraimov National Drama Theater in Osh. This event continued the important conversation about love for one's hometown, fate, and memory, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The ceremony to open the evening started with the installation of a bust of the outstanding writer Chingiz Aitmatov, symbolizing respect for his legacy. The event was attended by notable figures such as State Secretary Arslan Koychiev, First Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy Suzbeks Nadyrbekov, as well as representatives of local authorities and the public.

The play is based on the work of the People's Writer of the Kyrgyz Republic Arslan Koychiev titled "Tagdyr zhönündö yyr" ("Song of Fate"). The director of the production was Ulanmyrza Karypbaev, a laureate of the State Youth Award named after Chingiz Aitmatov, who successfully translated literary reflections on choice, time, and human responsibility to the stage.


The premiere of the play became a significant cultural event, inviting the audience to return to their roots and rediscover Osh as a space of memory and personal stories.
