The exhibition aims to explore the cultural and historical processes in Central Asia, which is a key crossroads for various cultures, civilizations, trade routes, and world religions, as noted by the staff of the library marketing department.
The main goal of the exhibition project is to showcase the civilizational contribution of Central Asia to world culture and progress, as well as to the transfer of knowledge and technologies. This region has served as the cradle for civilizations such as the Bactrian Kingdom, the Parthian Empire, the Kushan Kingdom, Khwarezm, Sogdiana, the Seljuk Empire, the states of the Karakhanids and Ghaznavids, as well as the Bukhara Emirate and the Khiva Khanate. Furthermore, it was here that the Great Silk Road was located, which became an important bridge for cultural exchange and interaction between the East and the West, as stated in the organizers' announcement.
