It is worth noting that the day before, during a military operation in Mexico, Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, better known as El Mencho — the leader of one of the largest drug cartels "Jalisco - New Generation," was killed. Following these events, mass riots and clashes between armed cartel members and law enforcement agencies began in several regions.

According to available information, militants are blocking roads, setting vehicles on fire, and attacking security forces. As a result of the operation, several cartel members were killed, and there are also injuries among the military.

Reports indicate that dozens of suspects have been detained in several states. Amid the escalating situation, airlines have begun to cancel flights, and local authorities are urging tourists to stay in hotels and exercise caution.
