In Bishkek, around 6,300 mortgage apartments are expected to be issued in 2026, as reported by Kylchbek Keldibekov, head of the Sales Department of the State Mortgage Company, during a live broadcast on Birinchi Radio.
Currently, more than 48,000 people are in line for apartments through the State Mortgage Company in the capital. Overall, across Kyrgyzstan, the number of citizens wishing to obtain housing under the "My Home" program exceeds 90,000. Of these, nearly half, specifically 48,000, are registered in Bishkek.
Applicants in the capital are claiming apartments through various programs, including "Social Mortgage," "Preferential Mortgage," and "Affordable Mortgage."
Keldibekov emphasizes that this year, the issuance of 6,300 apartments in Bishkek is planned, which is part of the active work of the State Mortgage Company to provide affordable housing for citizens, considering the high level of demand in the capital.
