Erlis Akunbekov: The Aircraft Fleet of Kyrgyzstan is Being Reinforced with New Airplanes

At the republican meeting, Erlis Akunbekov, Deputy Head of Government and Head of the Ministry of Water Management and Agriculture, shared the latest news about the state of the country's aviation sector.

He reported that three new airplanes were purchased for the airports for a total of 2 billion 385 million soms, using internal funds.

"Plans include expanding the fleet by adding a Q400 model aircraft and purchasing two Airbus A321s. Additionally, 8 billion 400 million soms have been allocated for the modernization of the infrastructure of domestic airports," Akunbekov added.

He also noted that currently, 11 certified airports are operating normally.
