In case of a deterioration of the situation, we are ready to take the necessary measures
According to information posted on the social media page of the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan in Saudi Arabia, Ulukbek Maripov, the situation in the country remains relatively calm.
He noted that Kyrgyz diplomats maintain constant contact with citizens located in the Middle Eastern countries.
A special headquarters has been established to address issues related to pilgrims, and appropriate measures are being taken.
"We have also received inquiries from 35 citizens in Bahrain. If the situation changes for the worse, we are ready to take necessary actions," the ambassador emphasized.
Regarding air travel, Ulukbek Maripov reported that airports in Saudi Arabia are operating in a stable manner. However, in some neighboring countries, airport operations have been temporarily halted. Domestic flights continue to operate, and national airlines are conducting international flights, although the number of flights by foreign carriers has decreased.
"Overall, the situation in Saudi Arabia remains stable. We maintain close ties with local authorities, and in case of changes, citizens will be promptly informed, and necessary measures will be taken," he added.
