In response, representatives of the Kolfest team emphasized that the festival is an international cultural platform that brings together music, contemporary art, and cultural projects, as well as guests from different corners of the world. Since its inception in 2019, Kolfest has attracted over 10,000 visitors from 30 countries and has become an important venue for cultural exchange and the development of creative industries in Kyrgyzstan. All events take place on rented premises and in strict accordance with the country's legislation.
The festival team also noted that they constantly interact with government agencies and security services, notifying them in advance of their plans.
“Our team places great importance on complying with the laws of Kyrgyzstan, ensuring the safety of all participants and guests, respecting the culture and traditions of the country, as well as the quality organization of the festival. We are ready for an open dialogue and to provide the necessary information to both government bodies and the public. We are confident that truth and justice will ultimately prevail, regardless of subjective opinions,” concluded the festival organizers.
