This year, the Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Innovation organized the national stage of the competition; however, participants note numerous shortcomings in its execution.
User akito_nomad reported that many students with high academic performance were denied admission, with no explanations provided, nor were the scores published, and there were no clear criteria for evaluation. Moreover, ministry staff do not respond to candidates' inquiries.
Another user, Kimmiila, also noted that the lists of successful candidates were not published and the reasons for rejections remain unclear.
Competition participants are calling for transparency in the process and for official clarifications to be provided.
On social media, they are seeking support from parliament members such as Dastan Bekeshev, Elvira Surabaldiyeva, and Bolot Ibragimov.
The press service of the Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Innovation promised to provide a comment on this situation later.
We remind you that for the academic years 2025-2027, the Hungarian side allocated a total of 200 quotas, distributed as follows:
- undergraduate/one-level master's program — 130 places;
- master's program — 50 places;
- doctoral program (PhD/DLA) — 20 places.
