In 2026, Bishkek is expecting a large greening program, within which it is planned to plant about 2 million annual flowers. They will be placed in flowerbeds, parks, and squares, as well as along the central streets of the city.
According to the city administration, the volume of greening work in the capital will significantly increase in 2026. The municipal enterprise "Bishkekzelenstroy" has already developed a large-scale plan for floral decoration of the city.
According to forecasts, thanks to a warm spring, about 230,000 tulips will begin to bloom in Bishkek by April 10. These bright floral compositions will not only beautify public spaces but also create a festive atmosphere for residents and guests of the capital.
The process of planting flowers and caring for green spaces will be organized in stages, which will allow maintaining the attractive appearance of flowerbeds throughout the season.
