Today, March 5, the Secretary of State of the Kyrgyz Republic, Arslan Koichiev, congratulated the people of Kyrgyzstan on the holiday of the Day of the Ak Kalpak and national clothing.
“Dear compatriots, esteemed citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic!
Today we celebrate an important holiday that symbolizes our pride and identity – the Day of the Ak Kalpak and national clothing.
The Ak Kalpak is not just an accessory. It is a symbol of the historical memory of our people and can be considered a sacred heritage that embodies honor, purity, and greatness. For the Kyrgyz, who have endured many trials, the Ak Kalpak has become the foundation of national unity, traditions, and spiritual values.
National clothing reflects our culture and worldview. In every pattern and detail of the Kyrgyz costume, deep philosophical ideas are embedded. They represent the high aesthetics of nomadic life and the harmony of man with nature, as well as his spiritual depth.
In the context of globalization, preserving our unique identity is the key to state independence and spiritual freedom. While adhering to the course of modern development, we must care for our values, traditions, language, and cultural heritage.
The transmission of values left by our ancestors to the younger generation is a sacred duty of all families, educational institutions, and society as a whole. A generation with a strong national consciousness and pride in its history and culture will become a reliable foundation for our prosperous future.
The Ak Kalpak embodies the greatness of Ala-Too and the purity of the soul of the people. Every citizen who wears it carries in their heart the history, culture, and responsibility to their homeland.
On this joyful festive day, I sincerely congratulate you on the Day of the Ak Kalpak and national clothing.
May peace, unity, and harmony always reign in Kyrgyzstan! May the skies of our country be clear, and the future bright and wide! May our national values be with us!” - noted the Secretary of State in his congratulatory message.
