Arslan Koichiev congratulated the people of Kyrgyzstan on the Day of the Epic 'Manas'
On December 4, the Secretary of State of Kyrgyzstan, Arslan Koichiev, addressed the nation with congratulations on the occasion of the Day of the Epic 'Manas'. This was reported by the press service of the country's presidential office.
Koichiev noted that 'Manas' embodies civic duty, patriotism, and national unity, as well as the integrity of the state. "This outstanding epic not only preserves the history, culture, and traditions of the Kyrgyz people but also serves as a spiritual heritage of global significance," he added.
It is also worth mentioning that in 1995, the millennium of the epic was celebrated in Kyrgyzstan, and in 2013, the works 'Manas', 'Semetei', and 'Seitek' were included by UNESCO in the list of masterpieces of the intangible cultural heritage of humanity.
