Respected citizens of Kyrgyzstan!
On behalf of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic and on my own behalf, I sincerely congratulate you on the New Year 2026! At the end of each year, we summarize the results and make new plans for the future. The past year was filled with joyful events and successful projects. We made important political decisions that determined key directions for the future development of our country. Most importantly, we strengthened the foundations of our sovereignty and made principled decisions on border issues. The economic indicators of the republic continue to grow, and domestic production is expanding. We also pay special attention to improving the living conditions of Kyrgyz citizens by implementing thousands of large social and infrastructure projects. All these successes have been made possible by the measures taken over the past five years, including strengthening the rule of law and actively fighting corruption and crime, as well as timely adoption of laws and effective coordination of all branches of power. The world community is watching our successes with interest, noting that Kyrgyzstan is demonstrating significant progress in its development.
Dear compatriots!
One of the key political events of 2025 was the decision to dissolve the VII convocation of the Jogorku Kenesh. For the first time in the history of our state, the deputies put the interests of the country above their own and made the decision to self-dissolve. Over the past four years, the VII convocation worked on laws aimed at strengthening the unity of the state, preserving the language and culture of the nation, as well as promoting Kyrgyzstan to new levels of economic and social development. As a result of the early elections, a new parliamentary body was formed, elected by the people. Although the VIII convocation began its work only at the end of the year, it managed to adopt a number of significant laws. In particular, the law on the republican budget was adopted, taking into account all the proposals made during the elections. The parliament will continue to be at the forefront of reforms and will actively work on creating a legislative framework for the successful implementation of major projects. I am confident that next year we will continue to make important decisions and develop quality laws aimed at the development of our country.
Dear citizens of Kyrgyzstan!
We all bear the responsibility for building a strong and prosperous Kyrgyzstan! To achieve this goal, each of us must work honestly and diligently in our field. We cannot deviate from this goal. May the coming New Year be a year of new achievements, creativity, and development! May peace, prosperity, and well-being reign in our country! I wish happiness and abundance to every family!
