President Sadyr Japarov congratulated the people of Kyrgyzstan on the upcoming New Year 2026, highlighting the important achievements of the outgoing year.
In his New Year address, the Head of State shared the following thoughts:
“Dear compatriots!
Respected citizens of Kyrgyzstan!
Another year is coming to an end. We bid farewell to 2025 and open the doors to the new year 2026.
The outgoing year will be remembered for the final determination of the borders of sovereign Kyrgyzstan and the completion of the main work on their demarcation.
The resolution of border issues is a guarantee of the security and independence of our state, as well as an important factor for the sustainable development of the country.
As the folk wisdom says, “good deeds come together, and luck accompanies them.”
Previously, we awaited investors, but today we choose those who offer us favorable conditions.
The interest of major international investors in projects such as the railway “China – Kyrgyzstan – Uzbekistan,” the “Kambar-Ata-1” hydropower plant, and the “Ala-Too Resort” tourist complex confirms this fact.
In the past year, Kyrgyzstan's international authority has significantly strengthened.
We held a number of significant international events, including a meeting of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, and established connections with countries with which we previously had no diplomatic relations.
The conduct of peaceful and fair early elections for the deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh has become an important political achievement, demonstrating stability in the country.
Dear citizens of Kyrgyzstan!
Thanks to the joint work of all branches of government and the prudent use of budgetary funds, Kyrgyzstan has entered the top three countries with the highest GDP growth rates.
Against the backdrop of the growing role of cryptocurrencies, on December 24, one of the largest global cryptocurrency exchanges — Binance — listed the national stablecoin KGST, which is pegged to the Kyrgyz som at a one-to-one ratio. This underscores the high level of legal and regulatory development in the field of virtual assets in our country.
The results achieved show that Kyrgyzstan is confidently moving towards sustainable development.
The state will continue to actively work on creating modern mechanisms for economic growth, implementing innovations, and forming conditions conducive to long-term development that meets the interests of citizens and businesses.

We rely on the wisdom of our people, society, and determined youth in building a New Kyrgyzstan.
If we respect our aksakals, who preserve moral guidelines, and raise the youth in the spirit of the sacred concepts of Homeland, faith, and respect, then successful achievements await us ahead.
The most important thing is to value our unity and harmony, in which well-being and prosperity are rooted.
