Kyrgyzstan's Energy Workers Congratulated on Their Professional Holiday

On Energy Workers' Day, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Adylbek Kasymaliev, congratulated industry workers, noting their significant impact on the country's development. This information was provided by the press service of the cabinet.

In his address, Kasymaliev emphasized that energy plays a key role in the economy and social sphere of the state. He highlighted that the daily work of energy workers is crucial for the stability of schools, hospitals, residential buildings, and enterprises, especially in the context of growing demand for electricity and the implementation of new technologies.

The head of government also noted that Kyrgyzstan is entering a new phase in the development of the energy sector, with plans to effectively utilize existing hydropower resources. Among the current projects, he highlighted the modernization of the Toktogul HPP, which now has a capacity of 1,440 MW, the replacement of outdated equipment at the Uch-Kurgan HPP, and the launch of small hydropower plants that will contribute to regional development.

Particular attention was given to the Kambar-Ata HPP-1 project, which is considered historically significant and strategically important for ensuring the country's energy independence and enhancing its long-term capabilities.

In conclusion, Kasymaliev emphasized the need to continue reforms in the energy sector, implement digital technologies, and apply artificial intelligence to improve operational efficiency and enhance Kyrgyzstan's technological independence.

In closing his congratulations, Adylbek Kasymaliev thanked industry veterans for their contribution to the development of energy and wished all workers health, safe work, and new successes in their professional activities.
