Orozov: Kyrgyzstan Has a High Scientific Potential

In his speech, the minister congratulated all scientists, educators, and researchers on their professional holiday, noting that science plays a key role in the socio-economic progress of Kyrgyzstan. He emphasized that science is becoming the foundation for sustainable development, technological independence, and improving the quality of life for citizens.

Orozov also shared information about the systemic reforms taking place in the country in the field of science. He noted that by reducing bureaucracy, improving the certification system, and supporting young researchers, conditions are being created for academic mobility. The minister stressed that one of the main goals of the ministry is to create a unified ecosystem in which science, education, and innovation will work in close collaboration.

According to ministry statistics, 75% of specialists working in research and development in Kyrgyzstan are scientific researchers, among whom 38% hold doctoral and candidate degrees. Orozov noted that this data indicates the high intellectual potential of the country and the need for comprehensive support.

He added that Kyrgyzstan has a rich scientific heritage and the energy of young specialists, and the main task of the state is to unite these resources, making science a driving force for national development.

In conclusion of his speech, Orozov wished the representatives of the scientific community creative success and new discoveries aimed at the prosperity and further development of the country.
