Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated the citizens of Kazakhstan on Independence Day, reports the press service of Akorda.
“Dear compatriots, I sincerely congratulate you! This holiday is significant for our people, who have chosen the path of sovereign development. Independence is paramount! Adhering to this principle is our historical duty to future and past generations,” the president emphasized.
He also noted that thanks to the unity and mutual support of citizens, Kazakhstan has achieved significant successes in strengthening its independence. In a rapidly changing world, which is entering a new era filled with numerous challenges and opportunities, it is essential to strive for development.
“As a young and progressive nation, we must look to the future with hope, unite, and work on enhancing the competitiveness and authority of our country on the international stage. Our goal is to make Kazakhstan a prosperous state. I am convinced that the implementation of current large-scale reforms will lead to success. By following the strategic course towards comprehensive modernization, we can build a fair, strong, and secure Kazakhstan. May our sacred independence be eternal,” Tokayev noted.
