President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated his Kyrgyz colleague Sadyr Japarov on the successful conduct of the elections to the Jogorku Kenesh, reports Akorda.
The President noted that the results of this electoral process indicate the stable movement of Kyrgyzstan towards achieving its strategic development goals.
“These parliamentary elections reflect the popular support for your course towards creating a strong and prosperous state. I am glad to see how dynamically Kazakh-Kyrgyz relations are developing, based on strategic partnership and alliance. I am convinced that, relying on centuries-old traditions of friendship, good neighborliness, and mutual support, we can significantly advance in our intergovernmental cooperation,” wrote Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
Tokayev also wished Sadyr Japarov further success in his important activities for the benefit of the Kyrgyz people.
On November 30, voting is taking place in Kyrgyzstan as part of the early elections for deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh, in which 460 candidates are participating.
The country is divided into 30 electoral districts, from each of which three deputies will be elected to parliament, based on the highest number of votes received.
