“Dear compatriots, Kyrgyzstanis!
I sincerely congratulate you on Human Rights Day, which coincides with the date of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
This important document, adopted by the United Nations General Assembly on December 10, 1948, became the foundation for the modern system of rights and freedoms, proclaiming the rights, freedoms, and dignity of every person as the highest value.
For our people, who have always valued justice, freedom, and human dignity, the principles of this declaration resonate with our traditions. As our ancestors said: ‘To lose honor and dignity is to lose one’s name.’
Since joining the UN in 1992, Kyrgyzstan has recognized and supported universal human rights norms. These values, rooted in our past, are reflected in the Constitution and legislation of the country, becoming the foundation of the legal system and supporting state policy, as well as defining the tasks of all state and local authorities.
We attach great importance to the protection of civil rights, the development of justice institutions, democratic processes, and ensuring access to quality education, medical services, and social support. The state systematically implements measures to create equal opportunities, combat discrimination, and protect women, children, and vulnerable groups.
It should be noted that human rights and freedoms are not only laws but also a culture of mutual respect and the responsibility of each individual for their actions. Only through the joint efforts of the state, society, and family can we create a strong, just, and prosperous Kyrgyzstan.
Dear contemporaries!
On this important day, I urge all of you to cherish human dignity, respect the diversity of opinions, and the values of our culture. The protection of human rights and respectful treatment of every citizen, regardless of their status, is the key to the sustainable development of the country, its security, and the well-being of our children.
I wholeheartedly wish every Kyrgyzstani health, peace, prosperity, and confidence in the future.
May justice, respect, unity, and harmony always prevail in our society!”
