Kyrgyzstan has entered the list of the top three countries in the world for real GDP growth rates

The Minister of Economy and Commerce, Bakyt Sydykov, reported on the country's achievements

According to the information provided by the minister, the average annual growth rate of Kyrgyzstan's gross domestic product (GDP) over the past three years reached 9.8%. In 2025, economic activity reached a record level: as of the end of 11 months, the real GDP growth was 10.2%.

“According to the International Monetary Fund, in 2024, Kyrgyzstan was among the three countries with the highest real GDP growth rates. I want to express my gratitude to everyone whose hard work and professionalism contribute to the development of our country and the strengthening of the authority of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce both domestically and internationally,” he noted.

Bakyt Sydykov also added that, according to assessments from leading international rating agencies, Kyrgyzstan's sovereign credit rating was upgraded to “B+” in 2025. This was an important step towards enhancing the country's international status and its investment attractiveness.
“All indicators suggest that the country's economy is on the path of sustainable and quality growth. We have a reliable financial base and confidence in the future. In 2026, we will continue our systematic work, focusing our efforts on creating favorable conditions for the industrial sector, forming a positive domestic environment for investors and entrepreneurs, promoting multipolarity in foreign economic activity, conducting fiscal reform, and strengthening environmental sustainability, as well as adapting to global climate changes,” the Minister of Economy added.
