On December 24, the changes in legislation regarding taxation, social insurance, and non-tax revenues were discussed at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, where the Minister of Economy and Commerce, Bakyt Sydykov, reported on the possible reduction in transportation prices.

As part of the draft law, it is proposed to exempt individuals engaged in the buying and selling of cars from income tax, while legal entities would be granted exemptions from value-added tax and sales tax.

In response to a clarifying question from Deputy Marlen Mamataliyev about whether this would lead to a decrease in car prices, Sydykov answered: "We expect that prices will decrease by at least the amount of the tax."
