The statement was made by the Minister of Economy and Commerce Bakyt Sydykov


According to the press service of the Ministry of Economy, a meeting took place in Kabul between Bakyt Sydykov, the Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan, and Abdul Salam Hanafi, the Deputy Prime Minister of Afghanistan responsible for administrative and social issues.



“During the discussions, the parties considered the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in the fields of trade, economy, and investments. They noted positive trends in the growth of mutual trade turnover and significant potential for further increase. The Kyrgyz side presented specific proposals for developing cooperation in the areas of trade and investments, digitalization of government and financial services, as well as expanding banking cooperation,” the press release states.
