In particular, a temporary suspension of income tax is possible
Deputy Chairman of the State Tax Service Kubanychbek Isabekov announced in an interview about the upcoming changes in tax conditions for sewing enterprises in Kyrgyzstan.
As part of the draft law being developed, new rules will be established to ensure uniform conditions for all categories of sewing companies, change the system of insurance contributions, and temporarily exempt from income tax.
“These measures are aimed at supporting tailors during difficult times and promoting the legalization of business,” noted Isabekov.
According to the tax service, currently about 9,000 people are employed in the official sector of the industry, but the actual number of workers is significantly higher. In this regard, efforts are being made to bring employees and companies out of the shadow economy, as well as to ensure social guarantees.
