At the People's Kurultai, Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu raised the issue of the dangers that artificial intelligence poses to the educational system.

Previously, Kyrgyz citizens were concerned about the increasing presence of artificial elements in their lives, including food products. Now, a new threat has emerged — artificial intelligence.

“As you can see, AI has rapidly entered everyday life. We must actively develop new technologies and innovations to minimize the negative consequences of their influence. Education has become one of the key areas for creating a successful state, but unfortunately, AI is already impacting this sphere. Today, even schoolchildren and students use AI to write the simplest essays and solve problems. Just ask a question, and AI provides a ready-made answer. However, this is nothing more than empty knowledge. As a result, education is losing its real value. If children read books and write essays with the help of AI, can we really talk about education?” — noted the speaker.

He emphasized the need for laws in Kyrgyzstan aimed at reducing the negative impact of AI.

“Society needs to understand the situation and proactively develop the necessary laws. AI is already performing the works of akyns, and people find it difficult to distinguish between what is real and what is artificially created. Moreover, AI can recreate images of deceased individuals. This is a serious threat, and we must make the right and timely decisions,” — he added.
