During today's session of the Jogorku Kenesh, the deputies approved the candidacy of Kanibek Dosmambetov for the position of Minister of Health.
Speaker Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu emphasized that the choice of Kanibek Dosmambetov for this position is a political step.
“I have always asserted that it is important to appoint people with good management skills to leadership positions in areas such as culture, education, and health care. It is not necessary for culture ministers to be musicians, and health ministers to be doctors. In developed countries like Japan and Korea, ministries are often headed by professional managers,” he noted.
