Dosmambetov noted that the shortage of personnel is the second most important problem in the healthcare system, second only to funding issues.
“In total, there is a shortage of about 23,000 specialists, which is a catastrophic figure, and we must recognize this. One of the key solutions will be to increase salaries. We plan to raise wages by 50% starting April 1, 2025,” he added.
The minister emphasized that a significant increase in salaries will allow the Ministry of Health to attract doctors more effectively.
