During the visit, the hospital director Atabek Jumaliev spoke about the major repairs that had been carried out, as well as the measures being taken to improve the conditions for providing medical services to the residents of the region.
Jumaliev noted that the computed tomography scanner is operating normally; however, the angiographic machine needs repairs due to worn-out parts. The Ministry of Health allocated 13.5 million soms for this work, a tender has been held, and a contractor has already been selected. It is expected that the new equipment will be put into operation by the end of the month.
In addition, Dosmambetov was informed about the construction process of the perinatal center and instructed to monitor the quality and timelines of the construction work.
The management of OUMCH also raised several problematic issues, including medication supply through the State Enterprise "Kyrgyzpharmacia" and the maintenance of medical devices. The acting minister assured that the Ministry of Health would provide the necessary support in resolving these issues.
At the conclusion of his visit, Dosmambetov outlined a number of assignments aimed at further developing the Osh Interregional Unified Clinical Hospital.
