As a result of this visit, a decision was made to create a commission that will conduct a comprehensive analysis of the work of the Department of Pharmaceuticals and the state enterprise "Kyrgyzpharmacy." This commission is tasked with identifying problematic areas and proposing ways to enhance the transparency and efficiency of the medication supply system.
Issues related to the provision of blood components, their logistics, and delivery were also discussed. In this regard, the acting minister instructed to allocate specialized transport for the uninterrupted transportation of necessary medical components for treating children.
During the meeting, emphasis was placed on interdisciplinary collaboration among doctors and the organization of consultations, as well as on creating comfortable conditions for children and their parents. Dosmambetov highlighted the importance of a comprehensive approach in pediatric oncology, which includes medical, organizational, and social aspects.
Instructions were also given to the leadership of the National Center for Oncology and Medical Diagnostics (NCOMD) and the relevant structures of the Ministry of Health aimed at:
- optimizing the work of the laboratory service;
- ensuring the availability of necessary tests;
- improving the logistics of blood components;
- strengthening quality control over medications and optimizing procurement processes.
Furthermore, Dosmambetov reported that, at the instruction of President Sadyr Japarov, the issue of constructing a specialized boarding house for the temporary accommodation of parents of children with cancer from the regions undergoing long-term treatment at NCOMD is being considered. "The implementation of this project will create decent living conditions for families, reduce financial burdens, and improve access to highly specialized medical care," the statement said.
