In the context of the rising incidence of ARVI and influenza, Acting Minister of Health Kanibek Dosmambetov visited the City Children's Clinical Emergency Hospital. During the visit, he familiarized himself with the work of the clinical diagnostic department and assessed the situation regarding patient admissions and waiting times in queues, according to information provided by the Ministry of Health.

The acting minister noted that the accumulation of a large number of patients increases the risk of infection and creates discomfort for both children and their parents, as well as for the medical staff who are working under increased load.

During the visit, Dosmambetov held a meeting with specialists from relevant departments, chief freelance experts from the Ministry of Health, as well as leaders of the National Center for Maternal and Child Health and the Republican Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital. Current issues regarding the epidemiological situation, disease dynamics, and operational response measures were discussed.

Following the meeting, the Minister of Health issued a number of directives aimed at reducing the burden on hospitals, improving access to medical care, and creating comfortable conditions for patients and healthcare workers. He proposed organizing a round-the-clock Situational Center based at the Ministry of Health, which will monitor the epidemiological situation, citizen inquiries, and hospital occupancy in real time, allowing for timely decision-making.

Additionally, the minister initiated the deployment of 200 additional beds at the National Center for Maternal and Child Health and the Republican Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital through the temporary repurposing of departments.

Dosmambetov emphasized the necessity of these measures to prevent the overload of the City Children's Clinical Emergency Hospital and to ensure timely assistance to all children. To improve the work of the emergency department, he instructed that 10 pediatricians from the primary care sector in Bishkek be sent for temporary work, which will help optimize patient flow organization.

Two mobile clinics are also planned to be deployed on the hospital grounds. "This will allow for the quick admission of children with mild forms of ARVI and reduce queues inside the main building, creating safer and more comfortable conditions for visitors," the information states.

Kasmanbetov added that the establishment of a situational center, the development of telemedicine, the opening of additional beds, and the attraction of specialists are important steps for stabilizing the situation.

According to operational data for the 49th week (December 1–5), 42,561 cases of ARVI and influenza have been registered, which is 15.3% more compared to the 48th week, when 37,066 cases were recorded. Of these, 72.1% of all cases are children under 14 years old (15,029 cases).
