According to the latest data presented by the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan, a decrease in the number of visits and hospitalizations has been observed in some medical institutions compared to previous days. This allows for more efficient resource allocation and access to medical care.
The Ministry also notes that changes in the number of visits are a common phenomenon during the seasonal period, and final conclusions about trends will be made based on data analysis over the week.
Republican Clinical Infectious Disease Hospital
The RКIB has recorded a decrease in the number of visits and hospitalizations compared to the beginning of the current week. Despite this, the bed capacity remains high: from 565 to 573 out of 500 available beds are currently occupied.
The number of severe cases has decreased, with 6 patients currently in intensive care (previously 10). The flow of patients with ARVI and pneumonia continues at an intensified pace.
City Children's Clinical Emergency Hospital
The GДKБСМП operates around the clock, accepting children with seasonal respiratory infections.
In the repurposed departments, 421 beds have been set up, of which 378 are occupied. A slight decrease in the number of visits and hospitalizations is observed. The highest load is noted in the general somatics, ENT, and surgery/pulmonology departments.
The main contingent of patients comes from primary health care organizations in the city of Bishkek and the Chui region.
The Ministry of Health is actively monitoring the epidemiological situation, strengthening the work of outpatient services and organizing monitoring by family doctors. An expanded bed capacity is also maintained in the RКIB and GДKБСМП, ensuring rapid patient routing and interaction between medical institutions.
Ministry of Health Recommendations:
- At the first signs of ARVI, contact your family doctor;
- In case of high fever, shortness of breath, pronounced weakness in children, or refusal to drink — seek medical help immediately;
- Follow preventive measures: wear masks in public places, wash hands regularly, limit contacts if symptoms are present;
- Get vaccinated against influenza, which is the most effective protective measure during the season.
The epidemiological situation in Bishkek remains under constant control of the Ministry of Health, and all medical institutions are operating in a state of heightened readiness. Information for the public will be updated regularly as new data becomes available.
