Recently, there has been an increase in the number of citizens seeking X-ray services in medical institutions in Kyrgyzstan.
The Mandatory Health Insurance Fund (MHIF) reminds about the payment rules, which depend on the patient's status and the presence of a referral.
According to information from the MHIF, if a patient visits the Centers for General Medical Practice (CGMP) or Family Medicine Centers (FMC), the cost of the service is partially covered if there is a referral from a family doctor:
- beneficiary categories, including children and pensioners of any age;
- citizens with active insurance.
- by beneficiary categories, including children and pensioners;
- insured citizens;
- uninsured citizens.
As for patients receiving inpatient treatment:
X-rays are provided free of charge in the hospital for:
- children and pensioners;
- insured and uninsured citizens who made a co-payment upon hospitalization.
