Kyrgyzstanis are urged to get vaccinated against hepatitis B
Testing for these viruses is available at family medicine centers and general practice clinics in the place of residence, allowing anyone interested to undergo examination.
If the test results are positive, the patient will be referred for further examination and necessary treatment.
Interesting facts In the last three years, hepatitis has been diagnosed in more than 50 thousand people in Kyrgyzstan
Vaccination against hepatitis B is provided free of charge for adults aged 24 to 65, as well as for anyone who has not yet been vaccinated. The vaccination process consists of three stages (0—1—6 months) and provides lasting protection.
Treatment for hepatitis B and C is also provided free of charge, including specialist services, laboratory tests, antiviral medications, and monitoring of treatment effectiveness.
It has been previously noted that over the last three years, more than 50 thousand cases of hepatitis have been recorded in Kyrgyzstan, highlighting the relevance of vaccination and testing.
