Some clinics in Bishkek are facing a shortage of the diphtheria and tetanus vaccine. This information was reported by 24.kg, citing data from the Republic Center for Immunoprophylaxis.

One city resident shared that she was unable to receive the ADS-M vaccine at Family Medical Center No. 6. She noted: “Medical staff reported that the vaccine has been unavailable for two months.”

The Republican Center for Immunoprophylaxis clarified that this issue is not widespread, but only observed in certain family medicine centers in the capital. “Certification and customs procedures are currently underway, and we expect the issue to be resolved within this week,” the center added.

Vaccination with ADS-M is recommended at the age of 11, with revaccination occurring every five years. After that, as with adults, the vaccine should be administered every 10 years until the age of 56.
