Active work continues in the Chui region to inform the population about the rules of mandatory housing insurance. As of today, 30% of the entire housing stock in the region is insured. This information was announced by representatives of the Chui branch of the State Insurance Organization in a broadcast on Birinchi Radio.
Kenzhebek Kadyrbaev, head of the retail sales sector of the branch, noted that mandatory insurance is carried out in accordance with the presidential decree and the cabinet of ministers' resolution.
“Statistical data shows that 30% of the housing stock in the Chui region is already insured. According to the president's directive, we plan to increase this figure to 40% by the end of the year. Sales departments operate in every district, where our agents explain to local residents the necessity and procedure for housing insurance,” he added.
Elina Umuraliyeva, a leading insurance specialist at the branch, explained that mandatory housing insurance covers all types of residential houses and apartments.
She also reported that from December of last year to the present, 27,834 insurance policies have been issued in the Chui region.
“There is a growing awareness of insurance among the population, and more and more people are starting to obtain insurance policies,” emphasizes Umuraliyeva.
