According to information from the Mandatory Health Insurance Fund, many women are reluctant to register and only consult a doctor in the later stages of pregnancy or just before childbirth. This can lead to complications that could have been prevented with earlier medical attention.

Consulting a doctor at late stages does not allow for timely identification of potential problems, necessary treatment, and ensuring the safety of the pregnancy. Under the State Guarantees Program (SGP), pregnant women are entitled to free medical services as they belong to a privileged category.

To access these services, it is necessary to register with a family doctor and get registered. The doctor will enter the pregnancy information into the database and issue a compulsory medical insurance policy, which will ensure free monitoring and childbirth in state medical institutions.

Additionally, with the compulsory medical insurance policy, pregnant women can receive discounted medications through electronic prescriptions with discounts of up to 50%. This list includes iron-containing medications and other necessary drugs to ensure a safe pregnancy.
