The FOMS explained in which situations insured citizens can receive free hospitalization in state medical institutions, and in which cases they will have to pay for services.

There are two main cases:In the absence of a referral, an insured patient has the opportunity to contact their family doctor at the Family Medicine Center or the General Practice Center at their place of registration for free examinations. This includes consultations, appointments, and laboratory tests (up to 52 types), as well as ECGs. Additionally, a 50% discount is provided for ultrasound and X-ray examinations, as well as day hospital services. If hospitalization is necessary, the doctor will issue the appropriate referral.
