The State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance Department clarified for AKIpress the conditions under which schools may be closed for quarantine.
In educational institutions, including kindergartens, attendance is monitored daily. Currently, the epidemiological situation in the country remains stable.
“If attendance falls to 20-25% or lower, the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance, together with local authorities, will make a decision on introducing quarantine in a specific school or class. Decisions will be made individually for each educational organization,” representatives of the Department reported.
