The number of cancer cases has increased in the Naryn region.
This fact was presented at a meeting that gathered representatives of medical institutions in the region.
Out of the total number of patients, 221 cases of tumor diseases were recorded for the first time.
At the meeting, the deputy authorized representative of the region, Aydana Imanalieva, reported that the largest increase in cancer cases is observed in the cities of Naryn, as well as in the At-Bashinsky and Ak-Talinsky districts. At the same time, in the Jumgal and Kochkor districts, this indicator remains stable. According to specialists, the increase in morbidity is influenced by untimely medical examinations, lifestyle, environmental conditions, and a lack of early detection measures.
As for the epidemiological situation regarding infectious diseases:
There were 178 registered cases of brucellosis, which is 30 fewer than last year. The effectiveness of preventive measures in this area has been noted positively.
For tuberculosis, 84 citizen reports were registered. Medical workers emphasized the need for enhanced monitoring and educational work regarding this disease.
In the area of HIV infection, 16 new cases have been recorded, which is 5 fewer compared to the same period last year. Specialists continue to conduct preventive and informational activities in this direction.
In conclusion, health representatives and local authorities urged citizens to undergo regular medical examinations and to pay close attention to disease prevention.
