The agency notes that daily fluctuations in patient visits are normal during the seasonal period, and final conclusions about the dynamics will be made based on data analysis over the week.
Republican Clinical Infectious Disease Hospital
The RCIH has recorded a decrease in the number of visits and hospitalizations compared to the beginning of the week. However, the bed capacity remains at a high level of occupancy: 500 beds are in operation, with actual occupancy ranging from 565 to 573 patients.
The number of severe cases has decreased: currently, six patients are in intensive care, whereas there were ten earlier.
Patient flows with ARVI and pneumonia continue to be served in an intensified mode.
City Children's Clinical Emergency Medical Hospital
The CCKEMH operates around the clock, receiving children with seasonal respiratory infections.
In the repurposed departments, 421 beds have been set up, of which 378 are occupied. There is a slight decrease in the number of visits and hospitalizations.
The greatest burden is experienced by the general somatics, ENT, and surgery/pulmonology departments.
The main patient flows come from polyclinics in Bishkek and the Chui region.
The Ministry of Health continues to monitor the epidemiological situation around the clock and is strengthening the work of the outpatient sector.
All medical institutions are operating in a state of heightened readiness.
The agency recommends:
- to contact a family doctor at the first signs of ARVI;
- to urgently seek medical help in case of high fever, shortness of breath, pronounced weakness in children, or refusal to drink;
- to follow preventive measures: wear masks in crowded places, wash hands regularly, and limit contacts when symptoms are present;
- to get vaccinated against influenza, as this remains the most effective protective measure in the season.
