The number of cases of acute respiratory viral infections and influenza is increasing in Kyrgyzstan.
The Ministry of Health reported that during the 49th week (from December 1 to December 5), 42,561 cases of ARVI and influenza were registered.
This is 15.3% more compared to the previous week, when 37,066 cases were recorded.
Particular concern is raised by the high incidence rate among children: 72.1% of the total number of cases are children under 14 years old, which is equivalent to 15,029 cases.
The Ministry urges citizens to adhere to preventive measures, avoid large gatherings of people, and seek medical assistance at the first signs of symptoms.
