Specialists noted that there is a high population density in these regions, and children attending kindergartens and schools can transmit infections to their peers. However, in other regions of the republic, the epidemic situation remains stable, the department reported.
It is worth noting that schools in the capital switched to online format on November 25 due to the visit of the President of Russia, the CSTO summit, and elections to the Jogorku Kenesh. Students are expected to return to regular classes on December 2.
According to data, from November 24 to 30, the incidence of ARVI and influenza in the country increased twofold compared to the previous week, when 13,000 cases were registered.
