According to specialists, the viruses primarily circulating in the republic are influenza A/H3N2 (Hong Kong) and influenza B, as well as COVID-19. Among the ARVI viruses, rhinovirus, adenovirus, parainfluenza, and others are prevalent.
Medical workers urge the population:
- to avoid crowded places (concerts, shopping centers);
- to limit the use of public transport whenever possible;
- to use medical masks and antiseptics;
- to stay home at the first signs of symptoms, and not to send children to schools and kindergartens to avoid infecting others.
In case of symptoms of ARVI or influenza, specialists recommend contacting clinics at the place of residence rather than hospitals. Family medicine centers operate on weekdays until 8:00 PM, and there are also on-call doctors available on weekends.
