Social media is discussing recommendations to "treat at home," as well as restrictions on medications and a reduction in pharmacies by the Ministry of Health.

There is an increase in cases of ARVI and flu in the country. This was reported by the Department of Disease Prevention and State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance.

As a result, more than 20 kindergartens in the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, have been closed for quarantine. Additionally, in Osh, five educational institutions have switched to remote learning due to the rising number of sick children.

The department noted: "Infection cases are occurring due to high population density. The situation remains stable in other regions."

According to medical data, there has been an increase in ARVI and flu cases in the last week of November, with nearly 70% of the infected being children under 14 years old.

Furthermore, social media users report a large number of children visiting hospitals in the capital. In response, some medical workers advise treating at home.

We also remind that the Minister of Health, Erkin Checheybaev, proposed reducing the number of pharmacies and limiting the sale of medications to the public, emphasizing prevention and changes in diet.
