The Ministry of Health has once again drawn citizens' attention to the importance of adhering to preventive measures aimed at preventing acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI) and influenza. According to the press service, following simple recommendations can significantly reduce the likelihood of infection and the spread of viruses.
The main advice from the Ministry of Health includes the following points:
- If a child shows symptoms of ARVI, they should not be sent to school or kindergarten until fully recovered, and a doctor should be consulted;
- It is important to observe mask-wearing and social distancing;
- Adhering to respiratory hygiene is crucial — cover the mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing and sneezing, and dispose of it properly;
- Avoid both hypothermia and overheating of the body;
- If feeling unwell and having a high temperature, it is recommended to stay home and self-isolate;
- Following sanitary and hygienic rules is also very important: wash hands regularly, ventilate rooms, and conduct wet cleaning;
- Do not forget about a balanced study and rest schedule, avoid overexertion, spend more time outdoors, ensure adequate sleep and proper nutrition;
- Regular morning exercises and physical activities are also beneficial.
The Ministry of Health emphasized that following these simple recommendations is an effective way to protect against viral infections.
