The Acting Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, Kanbek Dosmambetov, has instructed the creation of an additional 200 beds at the National Center for Maternal and Child Health (NCMCH) and the Republican Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital (RCIDH) with the aim of temporarily repurposing existing departments to treat children suffering from ARVI and influenza.

According to the ministry's press service, this measure is aimed at preventing the overload of the City Children's Clinical Hospital of Emergency Medical Care (CCCH EMP) and ensuring timely access to medical services for all children in need of treatment.

In addition, to alleviate the burden on the CCCH EMP, the minister ordered the temporary deployment of 10 pediatricians from the primary care sector of Bishkek to work in the hospital, which will help improve patient flow organization and strengthen the emergency department.

Furthermore, two mobile clinics are planned to be placed at the CCCH EMP, which will allow for quicker reception of children with mild forms of ARVI, reduce waiting times in the main building, and create more comfortable and safe conditions for visitors.
