The CliniMACS device, intended for the purification of bone marrow and stem cells, has been transferred to the pediatric oncology department of the National Center for Maternal and Child Health. This important news was announced by the head of the department, Sultan Stambekov.

Sultan Stambekov noted that this equipment will be a key element in preparing for bone marrow transplants, which is a significant step in the development of high-tech medical care for children.

“We are not only implementing a bone marrow transplantation project, but we now also have the CliniMACS device, which allows for the effective purification of bone marrow and stem cells. This will help minimize the risk of graft-versus-host disease. Such an approach creates the prerequisites for the introduction of modern technologies in Kyrgyzstan, including CAR-T therapy, NK cell therapy, and anti-tumor vaccines. This equipment is of high value and has been provided to us free of charge,” Stambekov added.
