Kanataev emphasized that the application has been functioning for two years, but its active implementation only began this year.
According to him, using the application significantly simplifies the search for medications, eliminating the need to roam around the city or browse through various groups. "Users can simply enter the name of the medication in the search bar of the application, and they will immediately know which pharmacy it is available at. As a government body, we control the official market, and the application features only those medications that have been officially imported into the country, with prices exceeding 100 soms. This limit is set to prevent the influence on the cost of cheaper medications. If we start tracking medications priced at, for example, 10 soms, their price could rise to 13 soms, which is a 30% increase. Therefore, we do not include inexpensive medications in the database," he added.
Kanataev also noted that the electronic database represents a state system containing information about all medications that have been officially imported into the country. All these medications are available in the mobile application.
