Due to smog, the number of children with asthma, allergies, and other diseases is increasing, - doctor
According to the expert, the main factors contributing to the increase in cases of bronchopulmonary diseases in children are the high population density in childcare institutions and polluted air. This negatively affects lung health and disrupts their natural protective functions.
Burabaev noted that smog contributes to the rise in the number of children suffering from bronchial asthma, allergies, and skin manifestations of allergic reactions. However, the cause of the increase in morbidity is not only ecology but also the quality of nutrition.
The doctor explained that digestive organ diseases in children are often associated with low-quality products and a violation of dietary culture. Modern children are often distracted by cartoons and gadgets during meals, which hinders their conscious perception of the eating process. This leads to a failure to develop the habit of eating properly and on time, which, in turn, can cause digestive disorders. Additionally, children's nervous systems suffer from overload due to gadget use, which also affects digestion.
An unhealthy lifestyle and high population density contribute to the spread of infectious diseases among children.
As for heart diseases, the situation has not undergone significant changes in recent years. The cardiologist noted that the increase in cardiovascular diseases among children may be related to population growth, as well as ecological factors and infections contracted by mothers during pregnancy.
