Acting Minister Kanaybek Dosmambetov expressed dissatisfaction with the existing disruptions, lack of transparency, and ineffective mechanisms regarding the procurement of medications, especially those necessary for the treatment of children.
In light of these circumstances, a decision was made to establish a commission tasked with comprehensively assessing the work of DLSiMD and the state enterprise "Kyrgyzpharmacy." The commission's goal will be to analyze the current processes, identify problematic aspects, and develop recommendations for improving efficiency, transparency, and accountability in the field of drug provision.
It should be noted that citizens and patients have repeatedly raised complaints against the state enterprise "Kyrgyzpharmacy." The company acknowledges the difficulties in the procurement process but points out that sometimes hospitals submit requests late, incompletely, or with errors.
